This has been the first time that the Blood Pearls have met the Capellan Confederation in battle. Both units made a good accounting for themselves in each battle. On the world of Muridox, the Confederation came out with Gauss Rifles on their Victor Assault Mech and quickly downed several Blood Pearl Mechs before the rest of the forces were able to engage. Although the Blood Pearls lost, they downed several of the Capellan Confederation Mechs. On the world of Xieng Khouang, the Blood Pearls had communication problems and were split up. Regardless of this communication error, the Blood Pearls managed to destroy the forces sent to stop them. The Blood Pearls stole enough Mechs to more than make up for the forces they lost. The indications are that the numerically superior Nova Cats pulled off victory on all fronts, even when faced with the elite assault forces of the pirates. Jul-17-3059 ELH Epsilon Eridani Times June 15, 3059 On Mica V today the Eridani Light Horse were able to successfully perform a hit and run raid against Mica Majority units. Elements of the 21st Striker Regiment were dropped with the job of gathering as much intel as possible. After a brief skirmish with a small Mica patrol, the Strikers were able to capture a communications outpost. Inside they discovered the security cyphers being used by Mica and were able to use the computers to gain intel on three of the Mica worlds. During the fighting Recruit Blondie distinguished herself by taking down three enemy mechs. For her service she was awarded the Citation of Commendation. Her skills and courage are an inspiration and honor the highest traditions of the Eridani Light Horse.
